Patchbay is a three-person repair studio in Rotterdam dedicated to keeping vintage synthesizers alive. We work on analog instruments from the seventies and eighties — the Junos, the Prophets, the Jupiter-8s — machines that were built to last but still need care after decades of use. Our workshop is small by design. Every synth that comes through the door gets diagnosed, serviced, and calibrated by hand, with attention to the original components wherever possible. We believe these instruments have a character that modern replicas can't fully capture, and our job is to preserve that. Whether it's a failing voice chip, a cracked potentiometer, or a full recap, we approach each repair with the same respect for the instrument's history. We're not a factory or a resale operation. We're three people who love this gear and want to see it played for another thirty years.
