Patchbay is a three-person repair studio in Rotterdam devoted to keeping vintage synthesizers alive. We work from a small workshop in the north of the city, where every bench is crowded with oscillators, filters, and half-finished patch cables. Our days are spent tracing faulty circuits, recapping power supplies, and coaxing tired keyboards back to full voice.
We started Patchbay because we love these instruments and the music they still have to make. A Jupiter, a Juno, an MS-20, a modular wall built from spare parts — each one has a history, and each one deserves careful, patient repair rather than replacement. We service classics from the seventies and eighties, source rare components, and calibrate every machine by ear as well as by meter.
We are musicians, technicians, and collectors ourselves. When you bring us your synth, we listen to how you use it, explain what we find, and return it ready to play for years to come.
