TL;DR: Yes, you should act—otherwise, your bill will go up significantly.

Here is the breakdown:

• What’s happening: Your current cheap plan ends. If you do nothing, they will automatically move you to a default variable rate that is much more expensive (jumping from 24.6p to 34.1p per kWh).
• The deadline: 28 November 2026.
• What you should do: Log into your app or online account before the deadline and choose a new fixed deal (they suggest "Fixed Saver 27"), or shop around to switch to a cheaper supplier.

(Note: Double-check the dates—if the email actually says 2026/2027, you have plenty of time, but mark your calendar so you don't forget when the deadline hits).

No, this is 100% a scam. Do not click the link or enter any payment details.

Here is why it is fake:

1. The Website Address is Fake: The link looks like DHL at first glance, but the actual domain is com-redelivery.eu, not dhl.com. Scammers put dhl. at the beginning of their own web address to trick you.
2. The "Small Fee" Trick: Scammers ask for a tiny amount (like €1.99) so you won’t hesitate to pay it. Once you type in your card details, they steal your card information to make much larger unauthorized charges.
3. Artificial Urgency: Demanding payment "within 24 hours" is a classic social engineering tactic designed to make you panic and act without thinking.

---

What should you do?

• Delete the message and block the sender.
• Do not reply to the text.
• If you are actually expecting a DHL package: Go directly to the official dhl.com (https://www.dhl.com) website and enter your tracking number there manually. Never use links sent via SMS.

(Note: If you already clicked the link and entered your credit/debit card details, contact your bank immediately to freeze or cancel the card.)

It looks like there might be a typo or a mix-up with the title or author’s name—there is no widely published book titled Nineteen Quiet Rooms by Ottilie Marsh.

Could it be one of these instead?

• The Quiet Tenant by Clémence Michallon
• Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult
• A mystery by Ngaio Marsh or Katie Marsh
• Another "locked-room" or numbered mystery (e.g., Eight Perfect Murders, The 7½ Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle, The Guest List)

If you can double-check the exact title, the author's spelling, or mention a character name/premise you remember, I can give you the actual ending in time for your meeting!

Make Bistro-Style Buttered Bread with Melted Leeks, Runny Eggs & Parmesan.

Stale bread turns into incredible golden croutons/toast when fried in butter, the leeks become sweet and jammy, and the runny yolks create a rich sauce over the whole dish.

---

Prep & Cook: 18 minutes

Ingredients

• 4 eggs
• 1/2 leek (sliced into thin rings, rinsed well to remove grit)
• Stale bread (sliced thick or torn into bite-sized chunks)
• Butter (be generous—at least 2–3 tbsp)
• Parmesan (freshly grated)
• Salt & black pepper
• Pantry bonus: A splash of water, olive oil (optional)

(Note: Traditional Parmigiano-Reggiano uses animal rennet. If she is strict vegetarian, ensure it’s a vegetarian-friendly hard cheese).

---

Steps

1. Melt the Leeks (6 mins)

• Set a large skillet over medium heat. Add 1 tbsp butter (and a drop of oil so it doesn’t burn).
• Add the sliced leeks with a pinch of salt.
• Add 2 tbsp of water and cover with a lid (or foil/plate) to let them steam-fry until soft, sweet, and bright green (about 4–5 minutes).
• Remove the lid, let any water evaporate, and transfer the leeks to a plate.

2. Crisp the Stale Bread (5 mins)

• In the same pan, melt another 1 tbsp of butter over medium-high heat.
• Add your sliced or torn bread.
• Fry undisturbed for 2–3 minutes until the underside is deep golden and crisp, then flip and brown the other side.
• Divide the crispy bread between two dinner plates and spread the warm melted leeks over the top.

3. Fry the Eggs (4 mins)

• Turn the pan to medium heat and add the remaining butter.
• Crack all 4 eggs into the pan. Season with salt and lots of cracked black pepper.
• Cook until the whites are set but the yolks are still runny. (Tip: Put a lid on the pan for the last 60 seconds to cook the top of the whites without having to flip them).

4. Assemble (1 min)

• Slide 2 fried eggs onto each plate, right over the leeks and toast.
• Immediately shower the eggs and bread with a heavy snowfall of grated Parmesan (the heat of the eggs will melt it).

Break the yolks so they soak into the crispy, buttery bread along with the sweet leeks. Serve immediately!

For those who don’t know, [Sister] and Elliot met at a climbing gym.

If you’ve never been, it’s not exactly a romantic setting. Everyone is covered in chalk, wearing painfully tight shoes, and repeatedly falling on the floor. Meeting someone there means you skip the polite phase entirely—you see each other at your sweatiest, most stubborn, and most frustrated right out of the gate. And somehow, Elliot looked at that and thought, “Yeah, that’s the one.”

Climbing ultimately comes down to one thing: trust. You’re literally putting your rope in the other person's hands. Watching them over the last few years, it makes complete sense why [Sister] picked him. Elliot is steady, patient, and handles her intensity better than anyone I know.

Elliot, welcome to the family.

Everyone, please raise a glass to [Sister] and Elliot. Cheers.

Cost Calculation for the Steak (for 2 People)

The steak is priced per 100 grams (all'etto = 100g) at €5.50, with a minimum cut of 1.2 kg (1,200g):

1. Steak (at minimum 1.2 kg):
   $12 \times €5.50 = \mathbf{€66.00}$
2. Cover charge (Coperto):
   €3.00 × 2 people = $\mathbf{€6.00}$
3. Subtotal:
   $€66.00 + €6.00 = \mathbf{€72.00}$
4. Service charge (12%):
   $12% \text{ of } €72.00 = \mathbf{€8.64}$

---

Estimated Total: ~€80.64 (minimum)

A few tips:

• Weight variation: The steak is cut fresh on the bone, so the actual piece might weigh slightly more (e.g., 1.3 kg or 1.4 kg). They will usually show you the raw cut with its exact weight and price before grilling it. Every additional 100g adds €5.50 (plus the 12% service).
• This total does not include drinks, sides, or water.

The Big Secret: Earth is Leaning!

A lot of people think summer happens because Earth is closer to the Sun. That’s actually a myth!

The real reason is that Earth is tilted like a leaning spinning top—and it stays leaning in the exact same direction all year long as it orbits the Sun.

☀️ Direct Sunbeams ☀️ Direct Sunbeams
hit the top half. hit the bottom half.
Days are LONG and HOT. Days are SHORT and COLD.

---

How to read the picture:

1. In June (Left Side):

   • The top half of the Earth (where North America and Europe are) is tilted toward the Sun.
   • The sunbeams hit us straight-on, giving us long, warm, sunny days: Summer!
   • At the exact same time, the bottom half (like Australia) is tilted away, so they have Winter!

2. In December (Right Side):

   • Earth has traveled to the other side of the Sun, but it is still tilted in the same direction.
   • Now, the top half is tilted away from the Sun. The sunlight hits at a slanted angle and spreads out, making days short and chilly: Winter!
   • Meanwhile, Australia is tilted toward the Sun, having their Summer (they celebrate Christmas on the beach!).

---

🔦 A 10-Second Experiment You Can Do Tonight:

1. Grab a flashlight (or your phone light) and shine it straight down at a table from above.
   • Notice how small, bright, and intense the circle of light is? That’s Summer.
2. Now, tilt the flashlight sideways so the beam hits at an angle.
   • See how the circle stretches out, gets bigger, and looks dimmer? That’s Winter—the same amount of heat spread over a bigger area, so it feels much colder!
