TL;DR: You don’t need to do anything right now. But by 28 November 2026, choose a new tariff if you want to stay on a fixed deal. Otherwise, from 1 January 2027, you’ll be moved to the Standard Variable tariff.

That tariff’s quoted rate is higher than your current unit rate (34.1p vs 24.6p/kWh), though prices can change and the letter doesn’t give the price for Fixed Saver 27. Compare the full rates before deciding.

This is almost certainly a phishing scam. The link’s real domain is com-redelivery.eu, not DHL’s official dhl.com; putting “dhl.com” in front of another domain doesn’t make it a DHL site. The urgent deadline and small customs fee are common scam tactics.

Don’t click the link or enter payment details. If you’re expecting a parcel, check its status through the official DHL app or by typing dhl.com into your browser and entering your tracking number. You can also report and delete the message.

If you already entered card details, contact your bank promptly to block or replace the card and check for unauthorized charges.

I don’t have reliable information about a novel called Nineteen Quiet Rooms by Ottilie Marsh, so I don’t want to invent a twist and send you into book club with a fake spoiler. If you share the back-cover blurb, a few character names, or a photo of the cover, I can help identify it or piece together a spoiler summary.

Make a stovetop leek, bread and Parmesan frittata—about 18 minutes.

You’ll need

• 4 eggs
• ½ leek, thinly sliced and well rinsed
• A few handfuls of stale bread, torn into bite-size pieces
• 2–3 tbsp butter
• Parmesan, grated
• Salt and pepper, if you have them

Method

1. Melt about 1 tbsp butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the bread and toast, tossing, until golden and crisp, about 4 minutes. Tip it onto a plate.
2. Add another tbsp butter and the leek. Cook gently for 5–6 minutes, stirring now and then, until soft. If it starts sticking, add a small splash of water.
3. Beat the eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper and a small handful of Parmesan. Stir the toasted bread into the leek, then pour in the eggs.
4. Turn the heat to low, cover the pan, and cook for 6–8 minutes, until the eggs are just set. Finish with more Parmesan and serve from the pan.

If the bread is rock-hard, sprinkle it with a little water before toasting. If she’s strictly vegetarian, check that the Parmesan is made with vegetarian rennet.

I’m so happy to celebrate my sister and Elliot today. They met doing something she loves, and it’s been wonderful to see them build a life together with the same trust, patience, and good humor that make a great climbing partner. Elliot, thank you for making her happy and for being such a good partner in every sense. I love you both, and I’m wishing you a lifetime of joy, adventure, and having each other’s backs. To my sister and Elliot!🥂

The steak is €5.50 per 100 g, with a minimum weight of 1.2 kg. At the minimum, it costs €66 total—about €33 each if you share it.

There’s also a €3 cover charge per person (€6 for both of you), and 12% service is not included. So, assuming the steak is exactly 1.2 kg and service is charged on the steak plus cover, your total would be about €80.64. The steak could cost more if it weighs over the minimum.

Sure! Here’s a simple picture of Earth at two points in its trip around the Sun:

NORTHERN HEMISPHERE: SUMMER NORTHERN HEMISPHERE: WINTER

North pole ↗ North pole ↗
                    / /
              ( Earth ) ← ← ← ← ☀ → → → → ( Earth )
                 June December
tilted toward the Sun tilted away from the Sun

Earth is tilted, and it keeps leaning the same way as it goes around the Sun. When our part of Earth tilts toward the Sun, sunlight shines more directly and the days are longer—that’s summer. When it tilts away, the sunlight is less direct and the days are shorter—that’s winter.

It’s not because Earth is much closer to the Sun in summer. And when it’s summer in the Northern Hemisphere, it’s winter in the Southern Hemisphere—like in Australia.
