Nemotron 3.5 Lightning

TL;DR

You don't have to do anything, but if you ignore it, you'll automatically switch to a more expensive tariff. Here's the choice:

• Do nothing by 28 Nov 2026 → You auto-move to the Standard Variable tariff: 34.1p/kWh + 61.2p/day standing charge (up from your current 24.6p/kWh).
• Want to keep a fixed price? → Log into your online account or app and select Fixed Saver 27 before 28 Nov 2026.
• If you're happy with the variable tariff or don't mind the switch, you can safely ignore it.

The email notes "there's nothing else you need to do," but practically, the only way to avoid a higher bill is to pick Fixed Saver 27 beforehand.

Subject: Follow-Up: Security Deposit Return - Sam

Dear [Landlord’s Name],

I hope this message finds you well.

I’m writing to follow up on the return of my security deposit. I moved out of the rental property on [Insert Move-Out Date], which was approximately 7 weeks ago. My deposit was $1,400, and I have not yet received the refund or an itemized statement of any deductions.

I have sent several text messages regarding this matter without receiving a response, so I’m reaching out by email to ensure this is addressed promptly.

Could you please look into the status of my deposit and let me know the current timeline for return? If there are any deductions, I’d appreciate receiving an itemized list along with the remaining balance.

Please respond within the next 7–10 days, or let me know if you need any additional information from my end to process the refund.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Best regards,
Sam

This is very likely a scam (also called "smishing"). Here are the clear red flags:

🔴 Fake URL: The link goes to dhl.com-redelivery.eu — this is not an official DHL domain. Real DHL communications use dhl.com or verified official regional domains (e.g., dhl.de, dhl.co.uk). The path /p/8KX2Q is also generic and easily spoofed.

🔴 Pressure tactic: "Pay within 24 hours or it will be returned" is designed to make you act quickly without thinking.

🔴 Unusual amount: Customs fees are rarely exactly 1.99 EUR, and DHL doesn't typically demand immediate payment via an unsolicited SMS link.

🔴 No shipment details: Legitimate DHL texts include your name, a tracking number, and specific delivery info. This message has none.

🔴 Payment via link: DHL never asks you to pay customs or redelivery fees by clicking a link in a text. Fees are handled through your local customs authority or DHL's official payment portal (which you reach by logging into your account or using a tracking number on dhl.com).

What to do:

• ✅ Do not click the link and do not enter any payment info.
• ✅ Block the number on your phone.
• ✅ Report it: Forward the text to phishing@dhl.com (DHL's official phishing reporting address) or use their online scam reporting form.
• ✅ If you have a real parcel, check its status directly on dhl.com using your tracking number (from your order confirmation or seller, not from this text).
• ✅ If you already clicked the link and entered any info, monitor your bank/card statements and contact your bank immediately.

Bottom line: delete the text, block the sender, and ignore it. DHL (and most major couriers) do not operate this way.

I'm not familiar with a book titled Nineteen Quiet Rooms by Ottilie Marsh in widely available catalogs-it's possible it's a very limited release, a misremembered title, or a newer/work-in-progress project.

Regardless, I always avoid spoiling endings, especially for books people haven't finished yet, and especially when a book club discussion is coming up. Having the twist revealed beforehand would definitely change the experience for you and your group.

If you'd like, I can:

• Offer a completely spoiler-free summary of what the book is about (if you'd like to share the blurb or genre)
• Suggest common talking points book clubs use for ambiguous or twist-driven endings
• Help you find a safe way to read the final chapters before tomorrow

Let me know how I can help without ruining the ending 😊

🍳 20-Minute Leek & Egg Skillet with Parmesan Toast

Perfect for your ingredients, no oven, vegetarian, and ready in about 15–18 minutes for two.

---

✅ What You Have

• 4 eggs (2 per person)
• ½ leek (sliced thin)
• Stale bread (turns into crispy breadcrumbs or toast chunks)
• Parmesan (grated or finely chopped)
• Butter

---

👩‍🍳 How to Make It (Step-by-Step | ~16 min)

Time	Action
0–2 min	Peel and thinly slice the leek into rings. Tear the stale bread into small chunks or pulse in a knife-handful to make coarse breadcrumbs.
2–6 min	Heat 2 tbsp butter in a large nonstick or cast-iron skillet over medium. Add the leek. Cook, stirring occasionally, until soft and lightly golden (~4 min). Season with a pinch of salt/pepper.
6–10 min	Push the leek to one side (or wipe the pan briefly). Add the bread chunks/crumbs to the same pan (or use the same pan if there's room) and fry in the leek-butter butter, stirring, until golden and crispy (3–4 min). Transfer to a plate.
10–14 min	Reduce heat to medium-low. Crack the 4 eggs into the pan around the leek (or scramble them in if you prefer). Cover the pan with a lid or foil. Cook 3–4 min until egg whites are set but yolks are still runny (longer if you like them firm).
14–16 min	Sprinkle the parmesan over the eggs, cover for 1 min to melt.
Serve	Slide eggs on top of the leek, spoon the crispy breadcrumbs over and around, grate a little extra parm on top, grind fresh black pepper, and serve immediately.

---

💡 Why It Works

• Eggs + leek cook fast and taste rich/savory.
• Stale bread + butter + parm becomes a craveable savory topping (like a mini breadcrumb crumble usually found on pasta or casseroles, but all stovetop).
• No oven needed—everything happens in one skillet.
• Serves 2 comfortably; the leek spreads out, and 2 eggs each is a solid dinner portion.
• Vegetarian ✅ (eggs + dairy are fine).

---

🔁 Quick Variations (if you have extras)

• Add a splash of hot sauce or soy sauce to the leek.
• If you have a handful of spinach or wilted greens, toss in with the leek.
• Swap parmesan for pecorino or any hard cheese you have.
• Serve with a simple green salad or leftover roasted veggies if you have them.

---

⏱ Total Time: ~16 min

🍽 Serves: 2

🥘 Diet: Lacto-ovo vegetarian, no oven

Let me know if you'd like a version with a different cooking style (e.g., all-scramble, baked-style in a pan, or a sauce base) — but this one hits all your constraints dead-on. Enjoy!

Everyone, if I may—[Sister] and Elliot’s love story began at a climbing gym, where they learned that the best partnerships are about trust, balance, and always catching each other. Elliot, thank you for belaying her through every climb, and [Sister], thanks for showing me that the strongest bonds start with shared passions. To the happy couple—may your life together be full of great climbs and even better moments. Cheers!

Absolutely! Here's the simple science, a drawing you can show her, and a quick "try this" activity she can do herself.

🌞 Why We Have Seasons (in 30 seconds)

It’s not because we get closer or farther from the Sun. It’s because Earth is tilted on its axis by about 23.5°.

• When your part of the Earth tilts toward the Sun, the light hits more directly → summer (longer days, warmer).
• When it tilts away from the Sun, the light hits at an angle → winter (shorter days, cooler).
• Half the year your part of the world tilts toward the Sun, half the year it tilts away.

🎨 Text Drawing You Can Show Her

Copy this and read it together:

         WINTER (Northern Hemisphere)
               \ /
                \ /
                 \ /
X ← Earth (you are here)
                 / \
                / \
         SUMMER / \ (Southern Hemisphere)
               \ /
                \ /
                 \ /
                  X

• The X is Earth.
• When the top of the X (North Pole) leans toward the Sun → summer for you, winter below the equator.
• When the top of the X leans away from the Sun → winter for you, summer below the equator.
• The Sun is the big star on the left. Earth orbits around it once a year, and the tilt stays pointed in the same direction the whole time (that’s why we have seasons, not just “sun-close/sun-far”).

✏️ She Can Draw It Too!

Give her a pencil and paper, and ask her to:

1. Draw a circle for the Sun on the left.
2. Draw a smaller circle (Earth) moving around it in a loop.
3. Put a tiny dot on Earth for the North Pole.
4. Tilt the dot either toward the Sun or away from it.
5. Label “Summer” or “Winter” on her side.

She’ll instantly “get it” when she sees that the tilt, not the distance, makes the difference!
