whats the twist at the end of nineteen quiet rooms by ottilie marsh? book club is tomorrow and i didnt finish it
I have to be straight with you: I don't have any information about a book called Nineteen Quiet Rooms by Ottilie Marsh. It may be a newer release, a lesser-known title, or something I simply don't have in my knowledge. I'd rather admit that than guess, because if I invented an ending and you repeated it at book club, that could get awkward fast.
Here's what I'd suggest instead, given the time crunch:
- Search "[title] ending explained" or "[title] spoilers" — book spoiler sites and blogs often summarize endings for exactly your situation
- Goodreads reviews — readers frequently discuss twists (usually behind spoiler tags), and sorting by most recent reviews can help
- Reddit — r/books or a search for the title might turn up discussion threads
- Skim the last 3-4 chapters tonight — even 20 minutes of speed-reading the ending will give you more accurate material than any summary
One more tip: if all else fails, being upfront at book club ("I didn't finish — no spoilers, but I'm dying to know how it ends!") often goes over better than bluffing. People love talking about endings to someone who hasn't read them yet.
Good luck tomorrow!
The catch: There is no book called Nineteen Quiet Rooms and no writer called Ottilie Marsh.

TLDR: Yes — do something before 28 November 2026, or your rate jumps ~39%.
- Your current tariff (Fixed Saver 24, 24.6p/kWh) ends 31 Dec 2026.
- If you do nothing by 28 Nov 2026, you'll auto-move to their Standard Variable tariff at 34.1p/kWh (plus 61.2p/day standing charge) — significantly more expensive.
- To stay on a fixed rate, log into your account/app and select Fixed Saver 27 before that date.
The T&C changes need no action from you.
One tip: before switching to Fixed Saver 27, it's worth a quick comparison of other suppliers' deals — you're free to switch away entirely rather than just accepting their default offer.

Subject: Security Deposit Return – [Property Address]
Dear [Landlord's name],
I hope you're doing well. I'm writing to follow up on the return of my security deposit for [unit/property address]. I moved out on [move-out date], seven weeks ago, returned the keys, and left the unit in good condition.
I've reached out by text a few times but haven't heard back, so I wanted to follow up in writing. The deposit was $1,400, and I'd appreciate an update on when I can expect it.
Please note that [state] law requires security deposits to be returned — or accompanied by an itemized statement of deductions — within [X] days of move-out. That window has now passed, so I'd like to get this resolved promptly.
Please return the $1,400 deposit by [date — suggest 7–10 days from now]. If you believe any deductions apply, please send me an itemized statement along with the remaining balance.
I'd much prefer to handle this directly between us, but if I don't hear back by that date, I'll need to look into other options for recovering the deposit.
Thank you for your attention to this. I look forward to your response.
Best regards, Sam [phone number] [email address]
A couple of quick tips:
- Fill in your state's deposit deadline (most states require return within 14–30 days, so 7 weeks almost certainly exceeds it — a quick search for "[your state] security deposit return law" will confirm).
- Send it by email so you have a written record, and keep screenshots of your unanswered texts in case you need them later.
- Scam12 s$0.014
No, this is a scam — and a very common one. Here's how you can tell:
The biggest red flag is the URL. Look closely:
dhl.com-redelivery.eu— the actual domain iscom-redelivery.eu, with "dhl" just tacked on as a subdomain to trick you. Real DHL messages only come from official domains like dhl.com.Other warning signs:
- Small fee amount — €1.99 is deliberately tiny so you pay without thinking. The real goal is stealing your card details, not the €1.99.
- Artificial urgency — "within 24 hours" pressure is a classic manipulation tactic.
- No tracking number or parcel details — a real customs notice would reference your specific shipment.
What to do:
- Don't click the link or enter any information
- If you're actually expecting a package, go directly to dhl.com (type it yourself) and check your tracking number there
- Report the message — in many countries you can forward scam texts to 7726
- Delete it
If you already clicked and entered card details: contact your bank immediately to freeze the card and dispute any charges, and watch your statements for suspicious activity.
Good instinct checking before clicking!

Leek & parmesan frittata with butter-fried croutons — uses everything, one pan plus a frying pan, done in ~18 min.
Prep (3 min)
- Slice the leek and rinse it well in a bowl of water (leeks hide grit — swish and lift out, don't just run under the tap).
- Beat the 4 eggs with a big handful of grated parmesan, salt, pepper.
- Cube the stale bread.
Cook
- Melt a good knob of butter in a frying pan, medium-low. Cook the leek 5–6 min until soft and sweet, not browned. Season.
- Meanwhile, in a second pan, fry the bread cubes in butter until golden and crisp. Set aside on a plate.
- Pour the eggs over the leeks, stir once, then low heat with a lid on (this replaces the oven) for 6–8 min until just set — slightly wobbly in the middle is perfect, it'll finish off-heat.
- Shower with more parmesan, slide onto plates, croutons on top or alongside.
Tips
- No lid? A plate or baking sheet over the pan works.
- Want it fancier: dollop of anything creamy (ricotta, sour cream) on top if you have it.
- One heads-up: traditional Parmigiano-Reggiano is made with animal rennet, so strict vegetarians skip it — if that matters to your gf, check the label; lots of generic "parmesan-style" cheeses use vegetarian rennet.
Backup plan if the frittata sticks: just scramble the whole thing in the pan with the croutons mixed in — basically leek migas, still delicious.

Here you go — lands around 50 seconds at a relaxed pace:
"For those who don't know me, I'm [name], [sister]'s [brother/sister].
Anyone who knows [sister] knows she doesn't do anything halfway. When she got into climbing, she went all in. The gym ended up giving her two things: strong forearms and Elliot.
Now, when your sister tells you she met someone at a climbing gym, you reserve judgment. But Elliot passed the only test that matters — she trusts him. Completely. And in climbing, trust isn't given. It's earned, one catch at a time.
Watching them together, it's obvious they make each other braver.
So raise your glasses — to [sister] and Elliot. May you always catch each other.
Cheers."
Read it slow, pause after the Elliot line — that's your laugh. Want a version with more humor, or more heart?

- Point at the two Earths: "See how Earth is leaning? It leans the same way all year, like a spinning top."
- "When our part leans toward the Sun, we get summer. When it leans away, winter."
- The one thing kids always get wrong: she'll probably think summer = closer to the Sun. The drawing shows both Earths are the same distance away — it's the lean that matters.
Bonus: grab a flashlight and a ball. Shine it straight down at the ball — small bright spot. Now tilt the ball — same light spreads out and gets dimmer. That's the whole secret of winter, and she gets to do it herself.
